On 24 April, ETSU Gin set up shop at Mondrian Bordeaux – Morimoto, for an exclusive masterclass aimed at bartenders on the Bordeaux scene.
An immersion in the heart of Japan
Organised around the Ikigai collection, this session explored the world of ETSU Gin and, more broadly, Japanese craftsmanship applied to mixology.
On the programme:
→ Pure tasting of five ETSU Gin references,
→ Exploration of the flagship ingredients (yuzu, matcha, sakura, etc.),
→ Presentation of the Ikigai collection (Matsui Umeshu, Kiyomi, La Tomato, one of the famous Japanese liqueurs, etc.),
→ And of course, exclusive cocktail creations, devised especially for the event.
Curiosity, technical expertise and sharing
Led by Charles, who led the session with passion and skill, the masterclass aroused genuine curiosity about distillation techniques, authentic Japanese ingredients and the creative possibilities offered by our range.
The discussions were rich and the feedback enthusiastic, proving that there is a real craze for Japanese products in the bar world.
