Cherry blossoms, Berlin stars, and a gold medal: our highlights
2024 began with a focus on contemplation and renewal. In March, the windows of Galeries Lafayette in Paris transformed into gateways to Japan.
One of the most remarkable moments of the year was the international recognition of Etsu The Original, awarded a Gold Medal at the IWSC Gin Awards 2024, with an exceptional score of 96 points. Honored in the « Classic / Traditional Gin » category, this award is a testament to our dedication to excellence and authenticity. The recognition was further amplified by a special feature on the UK’s Sunday Brunch, broadcast on Channel 4.
The launch of the limited-edition Etsu Sakura celebrated the Hanami tradition with an exquisite hand-blown glass bottle featuring a delicate geisha figure. A true collector’s item, it embodies Japanese elegance and craftsmanship, paying tribute to the fleeting beauty of cherry blossoms.
In October, at the prestigious Bar Convent Berlin, we proudly showcased the spirit of Etsu. With signature cocktails and tastings, our stand became a hub of exchange and discovery, perfectly encapsulating the harmony between tradition and modernity.
Growing presence, expanding community
Beyond these events, 2024 marked Etsu’s expansion into new markets. Through our e-commerce platform, we brought our creations closer to gin enthusiasts in the United States. Every click, every order, every tasting has become a bridge between cultures, a way to share a piece of Japan with the world.
